Since I was a little girl, the thing that I found most fascinating was witnessing the beauty that exists in every thing and every one. This is one of the reasons I fell in love with photography. Having the ability to preserve a beautiful moment with a photo is absolutely magical. And when that photo is able to evoke a memory, a mood, a giggle, or a feeling, I have just harnessed the magic that we imagine to be our own as children. That is my gift.

It’s often difficult to show off your recent work in this type of business because these photos are very personal to my clients. After all, It’s not just any portrait. It’s an intimate portrait usually meant for one person’s eyes. On occasion, a client will allow me to post a few of the photos on my sites, which I ultimately get to share with you. After photographing Jenny, I asked her which word most resonated with her and this is what she said:
“It is the muscles and nerves that connect from the center of my shoulder blades,
up through my neck,
crossing over the top of my head,
spreading through my eyes and ending at the tongue and the area surrounding my lips.
It is the rush of blood that blossoms,
branching out from my chest and enveloping my breasts.
My nipples titter with delectation as it continues down my center,
crashing so exquisitely between my legs.
It is an ache so exceptionally thrilling,
so enticing in demand,
so delightfully bewitching.
So wrapped around it’s finger, I am.
So driven by it’s ache.
It is passion.

What is evocative?
We must first explore the question, what is sexy?
Is it in the way you sweep your hair away from you face?
Is it a beautiful new dress paired with your favorite high heels?
Is it a coy flirtation from across the room?
Is it the smell of your perfume as you walk through a crowd?
Is it the song that creates a soundtrack for your experiences?
Is it a look in your eyes?
Is it the sound of your voice, or the whisper of your breath, as you lean in to tell a story?
Sexy is so many things to so many people.
But one thing is certain. Sexy feels good.
Sexy can take you over and put all of your feelings inside a beautiful box filled with joy, temptation and desire.
Sexy is flirty. Sexy is fun. Sexy is yours to own.
And from sexy, springs forth the evocative.
Evocative is a memory. Evocative is a mood. Evocative is an image.
Subtly filling your mind with song.
